The Seadra SSWG (short shank wide gape) Aberdeen hook has been designed with larger species of fish in mind where a wider gape allows for better presentation of fish and crab baits and also encourages the hook point to stand proud of the bait, consequently ensuring a better hook up rate. High carbon steel tempered to perfection means that the SSWG Aberdeen is up to two and a half times stronger than similar patterns currently on the market.
